The installation was a breeze. It came with electrostatic film to attach the dash cam to the windshield. This will be for easy removal if needed in the future. The length of the cable is just right for my car. I am able to mount it in the behind the rear view mirror and able to run the cable along the side of the windshield tucked away. I was able to run it all the way to the 5v outlet. The video quality is clear. I am able to clearly see the license plate of cars around me.
